Changing Lives for the Better

March 5, 2025 – SkillSource is honored and grateful to have been recognized as the Wenatchee Valley Chamber’s Non-Profit of the Year!

Representatives from the Chamber surprised SkillSource staff members with the news of the nomination in late December. SkillSource was nominated along with two other remarkable local non-profit organizations, The Wenatchee Valley Symphony, and Lilies of the Valley.

Charey Voorhis of Voortex Productions, produced videos for each of the nominees, which were shared at the Chamber’s Awards Banquet on March 5. The SkillSource video featured testimonials from Lisa Romine, SkillSource CEO, James Moore, SkillSource career participant, and Julie Helligso, a former career-seeker turned business customer and current board member.

Thank you to all of our employees, customers, and community partners. We couldn’t do this work alone and we are grateful to each of you!
