SkillSource is a nonprofit partner in our region’s workforce development system. We help people get the education, credentials, and skills needed for employment and a great career.
SkillSource provides career seeker services for adults and youth in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Adams, and Okanogan Counties. Career seekers can stop in to ask questions and attend an orientation at a center in Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Othello, or Omak.

WHAT ARE CAREER SEEKER SERVICES?
Career seeker services are resources and support designed to help people find fulfilling and sustainable employment. They can include a wide range of assistance, suited to different needs and experience levels.
SkillSource provides support to career seekers of all ages, including Youth Services for ages 16 to 21. Services are at no-cost to eligible participants. See below for a sampling of services.
CAREER EXPLORATION & PLANNING
Skills Assessments: Identifying strengths, interests, and areas for development.
Career Counseling: Exploring career options and setting realistic goals.
Labor Market Information: Providing insights into current job trends and in-demand skills.
Educational & Training Opportunities: Workshops, GED and High School completion, certifications, and programs.
SKILLS TRAINING
Apprenticeships & Internships: Opportunities to gain hands-on experience.
On-the-Job Training (OJT): Learning new skills while working.
Incumbent Worker Training: Focused skills training for existing workers.
Job Readiness Training: Developing essential soft skills for the workplace.
Occupational Skills Training: Direct support for in-demand job skills and access to vocational programs at local community colleges.
