You may choose whether to provide personal information through our website contact form. “Personal information” is information that can readily identify a specific individual. Personal information can include an individual’s name, Social Security number, address, and phone number. A domain name or IP address is not considered personal information.

The contact form on the SkillSource website asks for your name, phone number, email address, the county in which you live, whether or not you are under 18 years of age, and your preferred language and method to be contacted. 

When you complete your contact form, we will collect the email address and the contents of the email. The information collected is not limited to text characters and may include any audio, video and graphic information formats you send us. We use your email to respond appropriately. We might respond to you, address issues you may identify, use the information to further improve our website, or forward the email to another agency for appropriate action.

When you complete your contact form, we will use your phone number to contact you if you have indicated that phone is your preferred method of contact. If you opt in for SMS text messaging, you are consenting to be contacted by SMS text message. Message & data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt-out of further messaging. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Will your information be shared with third parties?

SkillSource will not share the personal information you disclose on this website without your further permission. Persons who contact us for services may need to be referred to other agencies or organizations to receive the correct services; if this occurs, you may be asked to consent to sharing limited personal information (name, phone number, email address) so that the partner agency can contact you. We will not, however, disclose this information without first asking for your consent. Under no circumstances will your personal information be shared with anyone for marketing or promotional purposes.
