We offer regular information sessions for adults and youth (ages 16 and older) in Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Othello, and Omak, serving Grant, Adams, Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. If you’re not able to attend an orientation in person, please call the center nearest you to discuss options.

At orientation, we’ll talk with you about your goals and guide you through the services that can help you move forward, whether that’s education, skills training, or connections to community resources.
– Explore Work-Based Training (Internships, Apprenticeships, On-the-Job Training)
– Find resources and connections for High School Completion, College or Vocational Education
– Learn essential Workplace Skills and make employer connections
– Attend Local Workshops for Financial Literacy, Business Services, or Professional Growth
– Get connected to support services and referrals to partner agencies
At orientation you’ll sign up for the Assessment for Career Employment (ACE) Workshop, which will be your next step to explore your strengths and how they align with career opportunities. You will then be offered personalized guidance to support you with your next best step.
– Earn your GED or High School Diploma
– Explore interests and career pathways through workshops, worksite tours, job shadows, and guest speakers
– Get connected to local employers for a Paid Work Experience and Internships
– Receive mentoring and personalized guidance from instructors in our Learning Center
– Get connected to support services and referrals to partner agencies
At orientation you’ll sign up for the Academic and Career Training (ACT) Workshop, where you’ll explore your interests, build confidence, and think through your goals with the support from SkillSource staff. You’ll learn about careers that could be a good fit, and what support can help you get there.
