Career Connections Shine Bright at Spring Into Summer Hiring Event

Over 150 career seekers attended the Spring Into Summer Hiring Event on March 21 in Wenatchee. This event brought together 32 area employers who are actively hiring, and 8 community resource agencies. It was held at the Wenatchee Armory building, which was graciously provided by the Washington National Guard, and a special thank you to Staff Sergeant (SSG) Andrew Ouelette and Specialist (SPC) Jaycob Waddle for all their support.

The space was light and bright, and perfect for bringing together businesses, community partners, and career seekers.

We are so grateful to all of the local businesses who came ready with job descriptions, and to all the career seekers who came ready with their resumes! Connections were made, questions were answered, applications were submitted, and our local workforce was strengthened with each handshake or smile. Several employers shared that they met many qualified candidates at the event, and are looking forward to taking these connections to the next step toward employment!
