Building Confidence, Improving Care
When families in Okanogan County turn to Welcome Home Care, they find more than support—they find caregivers dedicated to safety, compassion, and connection. That commitment recently grew stronger when 16 of their employees earned CPR certifications through Incumbent Worker Training.
The owners of Welcome Home Care, Kellie Davies and Savannah Knowlton, learned about Incumbent Worker Training when they visited the WorkSource table at the 2025 Okanogan Career and Resource Fair.
They learned that Incumbent Worker Training provides new skills for existing workers at a cost-savings to the business, which aligned with a need for staff development at Welcome Home Care. Welcome Home Care employees walked away with new, transferable skills, plus increased confidence, a renewed sense of purpose, and readiness to take on greater responsibility in their roles.
By investing in people, Welcome Home Care has strengthened the organization as a whole, boosted morale, improved retention, and positioned itself to stay agile in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape.
For clients and families, the impact is immediate and meaningful. A team that feels prepared and empowered provides safer, higher-quality care and brings peace of mind to those they serve.
Congratulations to Welcome Home Care and the 16 staff members who are now CPR-certified!
